Note: asked to help out on recording demo-less acts for the new ‘Huiskamer van de Stad’ livingroom-festival, I got the keys to the deserted studio, once the heart of Gouda’s local service radio station for the hospital and elderly homes in town. Since they ceased to exist, but needed to sell the studio, it was convenient to use the studio occasionally, to keep it in working order. First session was with acoustic cover-threesome ‘Op Visite’, who laid down this great session with covers of songs by Fairground Attraction, Sting and The Cranberries. Having soime time left, they were invited to have a one shot take, in which they produced a very vivid and great cover version of this already classic LMFAO track.
