Vromannacht, Friday September 16th 2011.

Vromannacht, 2-track recorded.
Friday September 16th 2011, ’Openbare Bibliotheek’ Spieringstraat, Gouda.
Note: 7th edition of local annual festival to honour Gouda born poet Leo Vroman, now living in New York. Local schooltalents and bands that are more up to the ladder perform a mixture of sets, comprised of covers and self-written material. Collegues from the station were asked to get this edition aired live on the station, so they came to me with the request to incorporate my airtime with this broadcast. I agreeed and helped out presenting, interviewing and, as it turned out, troubleshooting. This merely concerned soundmen, unwilling to coöperate. Firstly they refused to give us the negotiated submix and tried to make us agree on the lesser air-quality PA-mix, which I refused to accept. We got our submix, but of somewhat strange balance and configuration. Which turned out okay on the radio, as the intended stereo internet connection blew and we had to switch back to the backup mono transmitter. After that things run smooth, untill the ‘Handsome Poets’ soundman decided to cut us off. Despite protests from us and even the organising team, he persisted. So I called the management, explained the situation and got the signal promised. After being texted by the manager, the soundman opened up the channel again and we could air the second part of the set anyway. Two dark spots on a more than pleasant radionight.

Tracks:Central Blue Band-Higher Ground (Stevie Wonder)-Live This Life (Part)/Goudse Waarden Band-Killing In The Name Of (RATM)(Part)/Lenette, Jorik, Jake, Daniël & Jip-Nobody’s Wife (Anouk)/Micha-I Wished/Jaimy van Vliet-I’ll Be Fine (Snippet)/School’s Out-Dancing Shoes (Arctic Monkeys)-Feeling Good (Muse)- (Snippet)-Beggin’ (Madcon)- Are You Gonna Be My Boy (Jet)/Marith van Dijk-Hold Your Hand Forever (Snippet)/Emily, Louise & Band-Son Of A Preacher Man (Dusty Springfield)(Part)- Because Of The Beat (Part)/Sophie van Diest-Someone Like You (Adèle)/Antonius Huisband-Wicked Way-Signed, Sealed, Delivered, Im Yours (Stevie Wonder)-I Can Count On You-Time Won’t Wait.
Note: a selection of schoolbands and solo-artists from secondairy Schools from Gouda, playing a mix of covers and some self-penned songs. Notable names are Micha, Jaimy van Vliet and Marith van Dijk.

Skin Filtr8r (Gouda).
Tracks:
Note:Spoken Word/Performance-artist Rik van Zutphen, who used to be vocalist of Hiphop-Jazz-Soul outfit ‘Vorm’, finalist of the 2000 edition of ‘Grote Prijs van Nederland’. Using laptops, beamers and samples, he created an electro-like set of unknown titled tracks.

Nancy Brick (Delft/Gouda)
Tracks:The Mountain/Pirate’s Ocean/The Road/Turner/Green
Note: former ‘Corbelijn’ members Ron Valeri and Rieneke Batelaan requested to perform inside the café next to the library, instead of getting on stage. This, to keep the serenity and fragile character of their music more intact and to create a more cosy livingroom feel. They settled in front of the radio-unit and played a short, fully acoustic set in front of an audience, partly seated on the floor. Two mikes were used to pick up their set and to air it. The recordings come from the original broadcast, instead of the direct PA-signal used to record the night.

Eefje de Visser (Utrecht)
Tracks:Schip/De Stad/Trein/Ik Dacht Na/De Koek/Hartslag/Genoeg/Afdwaalt
Note: Eefje, a veteran when it comes to playing this festival, returned for this seventh edition with her full band for an intriguing set. Despite some missed notes and becoming overwhelmed by coughing during ‘Genoeg’, she mesmerized many.

Gras (Utrecht)
Tracks:Vriendin/Misschien/Vliegtuig Van Papier/Dat Zal ‘Leren/Hij Gaat/Het Einde
Note: Gouda originating Desiree Coumans formed a Dutch languaged Singer Songwriter-duo with Erwin Tuijl by the end of her Conservatory study and came to perform here, augmented by two members of her other band ‘Nona’. By the time they started the volumes had been turned up so high, the signals came in crackling, destroying most of the recordings by overload-fuzz. All that is left useable, is the mono recording of the broadcast itself.

Rick (Gouda).
Track:Freestyle.
Note: impromptu performance right after the ‘Gras’ performance to kill some time and to fill the gap between their performance and that of headliner ‘Handsome Poets’. Exploding effects, due to incoming overloaded signals, so unsuitable for broadcast. Also not included in the broadcast.

Handsome Poets (Utrecht)
Tracks:(We Can’t Be) Saints (Part)/Call Back Tomorrow)/Blinded/Dance (The War Is Over)

Note: started in Gouda as a Gospel/Praise unit, but decided to turn more worldly in the summer of 2008. With great effort, as they not only won ‘3FM Serious Talent’ Award in april 2011, but also scoring a string of hits. Performed the more important fesivals during summer and came here for a headlining gig cut short for time reasons. The start of the gig wasn’t broadcasted, as the technician decided the show wasn’t to be broadcasted, despite agreements with the management. A short phonecall to the manager resulted in the second part of the set to be aired, missing the first three tracks. As we were not allowed to record the gig, no recordings do exist. A fan however, provided us with the setlist, so we can tell you, which songs were broadcast.

Notes: Second regional musical contest for students from secondary schools in the area, organized as part of promotional activities to boost up the amount of (young) readers for regional daily newspaper ‘Goudsche Courant’. Acts from 6 schools sang, danced or played classical music to win a prize. Desiree Coumans won. This line-up featured two future members of later hitmakers ‘Handsome Poets’, as well as other young talents, later to emerge as Singer-Songwriters.
These recordings were first aired Friday November 5th by 'Going Underground' and 'Why You', skipping the dance-acts, as these simply don't have any succes on radio, unfortunately.

AD Music Awards 2005, October 27th 2005.

AD Music Awards 2005 (Gouda, Waddinxveen/Schoonhoven), 2-track Recorded.
Thursday October 27th 2005, 'Schouwburg' Gouda.
Tracks: de Band van Goed Geklede Amusementsartiesten-Jolanda Osinga & jill Zwanenburg-The Explosion Of A Dance/Me & My Sister-Mamma/Sebastiaan Molenaar, JuliettePoulisse, Laurens Olijve, Ruben Trouborst & Jurre Lammertse-Feelin’ Good/Suzanne Prince vander Aa-Underneath Your Clothes/Schoonhovens College-Streetdance Mix/Xandra Roukes, Nils de Hoog & Jeroen Vlieger-Vrede/Anne Marleen de Jong & Mima Makatita-Dance Explosion/Fleur van Wollingen, Liset van der Glas, Eeke van der Vet, Rosan van der Glas & Ixia Verdooren-Just Struttin’ Along/Sandrine Gütz-Taken By The Sea/The Delicate Sound Of Thunder (Anne-Wil Donders, Stefan Mandersloot, Dolf Bekker, Nils Davidse & Jasper Zuidervaart)-How Come You Don’t Love Me Anymore/Krista Visser & Jeroen Spetter- Faith/Kim Danens & Anne-Fay Kops-Let Me Clear My Throath/Desiree Coumans-Died Chase/Me & My Sister-Mamma.
Notes: Third and final regional musical contest for students from secondary schools in the area, organized as part of promotional activities to boost up the amount of (young) readers for regional daily newspaper AD-Groene Hart. Acts from 6 schools sang, danced or played classical music to win a prize. 'Me & My Sister' won. This line-up featured two more future members of later hitmakers ‘Handsome Poets’, as well as other young talents, later to emerge as Singer-Songwriters. This edition nearly didn’t happen as the newspaper that initiated the previous two editions and also okay-ed this third edition, was taken over by another newspaper, which didn’t like the idea. Since production had already started, cancelling the event would have costed the same amount of money as executing the plan, so the choice was quite obviously simply. Alas this did mean the event to stop after this edition.
These recordings were first aired Friday October 28th by 'Going Underground' and 'Why You', skipping the dance-acts, as these simply don't have any succes on radio, unfortunately.

Vera, Friday September 9th 2011.

Vera (Rotterdam), live on air.
Recorded: September 9th2011, ‘Gouwestad Radio Studio 2.
Tracks: Lazy People/Kiss & Tell/Bubbles & Bones

Note: To promote her second album ‘Bubbles & Bones’ (releasedate Sept 19th 2011), Vera and Peter dropped by for a third interview and beautifull liveset with acoustic guitar, upright bass and vocals. Concentrated and singing with closed eyes, they performed three songs from the album, inbetween trying to refill the parking meter. This didn’t happen, as it was the annual ‘Goudse Singel Run’, which meant the studio was isolated by 2200 running people from the rest of the market square. Fortunately the meter maids were watching the runners, instead of writing tickets.

Nancy Brick, Friday September 2nd 2011.

Nancy Brick (Gouda/Delft), live on air.
Recorded: September 2nd 2011, ‘Gouwestad Radio Studio 2.
Tracks: The Mountain/Pirate’s Ocean/The Road

Note: Risen from the ashes of ‘Corbelijn’, guitarist Ron Valeri and vocalist Rieneke Batelaan (a.k.a. Amie Maranth, a.k.a. Pien) decided to continue playing as a duo. For over a year they wrote their serene, slightly moody and fragile songs, occasionally playing a livingroom set, to see if tjings work. This night they kicked off trheir official string of performances, with an interview and three small songs, with just an acoustic guitar and a single voice.

Volhardt, Friday August 26th 2011.

Volhardt (Bodegraven), live on air.
Recorded: August 26th 2011, ‘Gouwestad Radio Studio 2.
Tracks: Jij Hoort Bij Mij/Ga Zoek En Beleef/Iedereen Is Van De Wereld

Note: Ofcourse you need to check your gear, especially when others use it as. On the other hand, rule number one is to leave the radiostudio fully functioning, the way you found it, when you came in. Alas, rushing times, so when the show was already running, I discovered a previous user switched of 5 of 6 mike-channels in use, by switching off tipswitches no one had ever used before. Panic and mayhem, but we regripped ourselves during the second attempt of ‘Jij Hoort Bij Mij’, ending the night with quite a nice set of harmony vocals over an acoustic guitar by this Dutch languaged rockband, that is gradualy, but certainly climbing the stairs of succes.

Drugsmokkel, Saturday September 3rd 2011.

Drugsmokkel (Rotterdam/Gouda), 2-track recorded.
Saturday September 3rd 2011, 'de Gonz' Gouda.
Tracks: Intro/Dope Sucks/Let’s Go/Disco Rock ‘n’ Roll/Drive In Liquor Store/9 To 5/Rock ‘n’ Roll Baby/Swingin’ In The Discolights/Paranoia Of Life/Rock ‘n’Roll Junkie/Live For Rock ‘n’ Roll/Drugsmokkel/Joules De La Tourette/Rocking Class Heroes/I Was Made For Rock ‘n’ Roll.

Note: Somewhat chaotic Punk ‘n’ Roll-trio, playing on a 4 band night. As usual, there were problems with the bassguitar, but all in all the set was recorded neatly. The band themselves had grown, as they seem to do with every gig.

Klerkx & The Secret 'In Session', Friday January 21st 2011.

Klerkx & The Secret (Amsterdam), 2-Track recorded.
Fridayday January 21st 2011, ‘Gouwestad Radio Studio 2’ Gouda.
Tracks: People/Back To The Sun/King Of Kings/Lost Love Generation

Note: As the band had live-commitments that night, they dropped by in the early afternoon for an interview and 4 steaming acoustic live tracks from his then forthcoming second CD ‘Undertones’, broadcasted later that night. Klerkx & The Secret were this session Rob Klerkx (Voc/Guitar), Jaromir Fernig (Slide and electric Guitar) and Gideon Ferrero (Acoustic bass). After celebrating Rob’s 40th birthday with pie and non alcoholic bubbles, we set to work and recorded everything in a single take, with the band recording a brandnew track as well.

zaterdag 16 juli 2011

Theo Sieben, Friday June 17th 2011.

Theo Sieben (Amsterdam), live on air.
Recorded: June 17th 2011, ‘Gouwestad Radio Studio 2.
Tracks: Untill Grass/Sunny Satellite/Sound Of The Stone

Note: Amsterdam Singer-Songwriter, guitarist, composer and session musician, who’s been working with names like Klerkx & The Secret, Paulusma, Alex van Warmerdam etc. Heavily influenced by Appalachean folk and Americana, he came to the show for a chat on his then recently released solo album ‘Untill Grass’. Brought along violinist/singer Judith Kolen, to perform three songs inbetween running to the parking meter for a refill. Didn’t feel we connected totally during the interview, but in the end we were all happy with both interview and liveset.

Jessie Galante (USA), Thursday June 2nd 2011.

Jessie Galante (New York City), 2-Track recorded.
Thursday June 2nd 2011, ‘Gouwestad Radio Studio 2’ Gouda.
Tracks: Spitfire/Go On, Rain On Me

Note: Very soulfull Rocking lady dropped by for an acoustic session and interview and to shoot some material for a documentary on her meeting local musicians, while being on the road. Very spirited interview, which was augmented by Dutch guitarist/musical partner Koen Wolters. For unknown reasons the recordings crackle a bit. Before recording, the guitarist and cameraman (Lawrence Swist), tried to connect a small reverb device, to add some effect on the vocals, but decided to call it a day, as it needed way too much recabling the studio, for just this session. Great performances and a firy interview though.

Boring Pop, Friday April 1st 2011.

Boring Pop (Rotterdam area), live on air.
Recorded: April 1st 2011, ‘Gouwestad Radio Studio 2.
Tracks: The Man Upstairs/What He Likes/A Doll/ Black Lines/Flies In The Kitchen

Note: Lighthearted pop by (former) ‘Yoshimi’ guitarist and drummer, with harmony vocals and lighthearted melodies. Lyrical a bit more grimm at points though. Nice guys, which meant a great time on and around airtime.

maandag 14 maart 2011

'Ouwe Gouwe' Festival, April 17th 2010.

’Ouwe Gouwe’ Festival 2-track recorded.
Saturday April 17th 2010, ‘So What’ Gouda.
Note: A new, indoor festival, mixing young new bands with more experienced ones and some briefly reüniting for the occasion. I made kind of experimental live-recordings, using a new mixing desk to make my own mix of the unprocessed 14 lines with sounds from the stageblock and recording it on a Flashrecorder directly. Although not perfect, it gave quite usable results. Despite strange things happening, like two signals coming from 4 different lines. Or not at all!! Which meant ‘Plugging by chance’ with every new set! Challenging and frustrating at the same time.

Slice (Of Merlin) (Gouda/Bodegraven/Rotterdam/Oudewater), 2-track recorded.
Tracks: Flying Pig/Beware/Boring Day/Roots Under My Feet/Heart Of Darkness/Extatum (Part)/Soft As Water.
Note: One of the local legends, mixing influences like ‘The Doors’ and old ‘Pink Floyd’ to a melodic, multi-layered and inventive sound. Considered by many as their ‘Comeback’-gig, it turned out to be their one-but-last! To the amazement of many, including myself, they announced their swansong for June 4th during this performance. Which got postponed, as their guitarist broke his wrist three days prior to that. Their final, sold out gig was on Saturday November 6th 2010 in local club ‘De Gonz’. ‘Extatum’ was only partially recorded, as their set lasted longer than the space on my flashcard, used for this gig.

Kelvin (Gouda), 2-track recorded.
Tracks: Running Away.
Note: New band from ‘Sportclub De Volharding’ guitarist. Recorded one track only, because I had shortage of memory to get every note by every band. Regrettably.

Quip! (Gouda/Haastrecht/Waddinxveen), 2-track recorded.
Tracks: Try My Friends/Too Much Of A Bad Thing/Last Time Bright/Lost In Life.
Note: Shortlived reunion of this Blues-infused slightly psychedelic Rockband, done for the occasion of this festival. Great to see them back on stage for one more time.

Horizon (Gouda/Reeuwijk/Boskoop), 2-track recorded.
Tracks: Screaming Out Loud/Can’t You See/Lifestyle.
Note: Information provided to me announced them as a youg coverband, who turned out to play female fronted Rocky pop with some self-penned songs. I captured 2,5 track, after fighting ‘disappeared’ lines, resulting in one of the voices not being fully audible.

Usual Suspects (Gouda), 2-track recorded.
Tracks: Return A Favour/You Can’t Hold Me/I Don’t Know/Runaway/Victim.
Note: Young Rocking Punkband, making their first proper stage-performance.

Slang Dang (Gouda/Reeuwijk/Bodegraven), 2-track recorded.
Tracks: Alone/Love/Slang Dang Fever/Café/Hell Of A Party.
Note: Another band that reunited for the festival. Mainly rehearsed drinking beer (as rumour goes), the set was somewhat loose, but nevertheless one of the highlights of this day in my opinion. Truly great to see them back playing their Metalized Funky Bluesrock on stage, since they decided to give it another go after this gig.

Summer Breeze Project (Gouda/Rotterdam/Utrecht/Amsterdam), 2-track recorded.
Tracks: Power/In The Meantime/Omerta/Goin’ Down/Master & Servant/PTSD.
Note: Ambitious and quite successful Prog-rockband from the area, played a short, but intense and very concentrated set.

Eve Of Dawn (Gouda/Haastrecht), 2-track recorded.
Tracks: /Welfare State/Unapproachable/Frightened.
Note: Another band that reformed for the festival and decided to give it another go. They played some New Wave infused Alternative Rock. After splitting up in 1995, members emerged in bands like ‘Velvet Lane’, ‘Quip!’ and ‘Mother Of Pearl’. Guitarist Wilbert van Straten used to be a classmate in Secondairy School and had to give up guitarplaying early 1997 due to RSI. But this day he was there again!

Flowdown (Gouda/Bodegraven/Rotterdam/Oudewater), 2-track recorded.
Tracks: Another Day/Flying.
Note: Nu-Metallish Grungeband that came to the scene in the early 90’s under the name ‘Conquistador!’. Nearly everything changed from line-up to genre, except for the guitarist. I was only able to record the firstst two tracks of their set, as one of the memorycards used to store the recordings, ran out of space. Alas.

Ammocave (Gouda), 2-track recorded.
Tracks: Magic Anger Blender/Stronger Stuff/Answers/Face The New Moon.
Note: Sort of ‘Comeback’-gig, after being inactive for quite some time, due to several changes of frontmen in the years past. Slightly loose, though reasonable convincing set by the band of one of the Festivals’ instigators!

Poultry (Bodegraven/Reeuwijk/Gouda), 2-track recorded.
Tracks: Hypocrite/My Friends/Speak Up/Responsability/High Standards/College Years/Kiss Of Betrayal..
Note: Steaming hometown gig by this Punkrock outfit, that’s got their EP out in Japan on a local label. Aired few new tracks that night and served as a perfect warmup for headliner ‘Blind Justice’.

Blind Justice (Rotterdam), 2-track recorded.
Tracks: Intro/Stuck In My Mind/Weazel/Brainless/Life Is Bitter/Boulder/Cage Of Fear/Social Failure/Breathe/In Exuilibrium/Are You Different?.
Note: Farewell-gig by this ‘legendary’ Gouda originating Metalband, that started off as a schoolband and made it it to major stages, festivals and TV-shows, both under their own moniker, as in a package with Dutch languaged Hiphop-pioneers ‘Osdorp Posse’. They once appeared on an international Metal-sampler with ‘little known’ bands as ‘Sepultura’! Leaving the ‘bass-in-a-box’ at home, singer/guitarist Attila Szabo switched to bassguitar for the occasion. Playing songs from throughout their career, they said closed the BJ-book, to start writing a new one under the name ‘3AM’ (‘Three Angry Men’). As I ran out of memorycards, the last 40 seconds of ‘Are You Different?’are missing. Alas!

dB Band (UK) 'In Session', Monday February 28th 2011

dB Band (Oxford, UK), 2-Track & 4-Track recorded.
Monday February 28th 2011, ‘Gouwestad Radio Studio 2’ Gouda.
Tracks:
Stranger In The Alps (Tk 1-4)/Dreams (Tk 1-3)/Stranger In The Alps (Tk 5-6)/5 A Day (Tk 1-4)/Stranger In The Alps (Tk 7)/Up In Smoke (Tk 1)/Dreams (Tk 4)/5 A Day (Tk 5-7)/Bus Stop Shuffle (Tk 1-5)/Up In smoke (Tk 2)/Dreams (Overdubs Tk 1-3)/Interview

Note:
‘dB Band’ are Mick Quinn, Paul ‘Fab’ Wilson and Mikey D Smith from Oxford, England. Being very excited to have a former member of longtime favourites ‘Supergrass’ in the studio for a session, I was disappointed in turning sick the night prior to the session, leaving me tired and a bit dreary. Which led to problems with the vocalmix from the start untill about halfway through the session.

Right after an early appearance on Amsterdam based ‘English Breakfast Radio’, the band arrived knackered at the studio by 10:30 AM. Having skipped the night before, after a short, festive night the day before that, energy was scarce and moods swinging. Takes 1 and 3 of ‘Stranger’ were breakdowns, while others suffered from difficulties in soundlevels. Take 7 was deemed best.

Take 1 of ‘Dreams’ was already in progress, when the record-button got pressed. For the other takes recording switched from Marantz P660 Flashrecorder to good ‘ole Tascam 440 Portastudio, cassettebased. Take 2 broke down, Take 3 had the lead vocals drowned in the overall sound, while the backing vocals were too prominent. Take 4 got second vocals on track three, in addition to the basic track taped live onto tracks 1 and 2. Takes 2, 4 and 5 of ‘5 A Day’ broke down, before problems with the livemix were solved by re-levelling the vocals.

After a break and an unrecorded jam with Mick on drums, the session was picked up by ‘Up In Smoke’, whick lacked it’s first two minutes, as the band started to play unannounced during technical maintenance. Take 1 of ‘Bus Stop Shuffle’ broke down, while Take 3 was a loose runthrough, in which the band focussed on some adjustments. The other takes were dissatisfactory to the band, untill Take 6 came out as best one. A 25 minute full band interview concluded this 7 hour session-day. Few hours later, while transferring the session from the recorder to my computer, I mixed ‘Dreams’ at home in a single take.

Darling Rooster 'Live On Air, Friday January 14th 2011.'

Darling Rooster (Moordrecht/Gouda/Haastrecht), live on air.
Recorded: January 14th 2011, ‘Gouwestad Radio Studio 2.
Tracks: It’s All Been Done Before/Recipe For Happiness/Cutting The Tree/As Zek Nam

Note: 10 days before theior sort of headlining gig during a festival on Nationwide station ‘Kink FM’ in the main hall of Amsterdam ‘Paradiso’, the band dropped by the show for it’s first visit in 6 years. The band was late and for some reason I got the impression details talked over quite clearly hadn’t come in clearly. I wasn’t in the best of moods either, making the entry of the band not the smoothest. Soundchecking during the first track, made this one useless for furtherre-broadcasting, but tension flushed and we had a pleasant talk and continued live-set from that point on. Making clear to me, the band had grown incredible since their last visit. During the show, they aired a brandnew track, written and not at all finished over the previous 6 days. Closing tune was their interpretation of a Czech folktune, they picked up while touring in Czech Republic, the country leadsinger Petr Hora originates from.

Eefje 'In Session', Thursday January 6th 2011.

Eefje de Visser (Utrecht), 2-Track recorded.
Thursday January 6th 2011, ‘Gouwestad Radio Studio 2’ Gouda.
Tracks: Afdwaalt (Soudcheck)/Afdwaalt/Genoeg/Trein (TK 1-4)/Ik Dacht Na (TK 1-4)/Interview/ Opening TV Interview

Note: The second radio session in 8 years from ‘Grote Prijs’-winner Eefje de Visser, the day before she released both her debut-CD ‘De Koek’ and her band to the world. This session was also filmed for local TV with two camera’s and aired Jan 23rd – 29th 2011. Supported by ‘Most Unpleasant Men’-members Jelte Heeringa (glockenspiel, harmonium, vocals, percussion) and Joni Scholten (bas, vocals), she played a relaxed, joyfull session. ‘Afdwaalt’ (Wandering off), was recorded as a balance and configuration-check first, after which it took one take only, to get it done. ‘Genoeg’ (Enough) was taped in a single session too. After rehearsing chorusses, laughter crept in, so the first two takes of ‘Trein’ (Train) crashed due to that. The third take was stopped to adjust guitar levels, after which take 4 went okay. ‘ik Dacht Na’ ( I Was Wondering) crashed at it’s first go, while the second one was finished but abandonned, as Eefje forgot some words at a crucial point. Before the third take, I put a second mike to the harmonium, making it a stereo signal. After adjusting the mix, the third take run out, but unsatisfactoring as well, so the 4th and final take followed.
After the session was a wrap, I interviewed her for my show, with camera’s rolling simultaneously. After ending the talk at 27,5 minutes, one of the cameramen sighed “We don’t have that long on TV, you realise that”. Final take was an opening shot of me glancing in the camera and asking a first, starting question to Eefje for TV-purposes.
