Saturday July 11th 2014, 'Studio Gonz' Gouda.
Tracks: Out Of Sight/The Valley Down Below/Dying With Me//The Boarman’s Call (Nick Cave-cover)/.

Note: solo performance of ‘Joe Madman & The Sidewalkers’ frontman, showcasing his songwriting and musical skills even better in this both fragile and strong performance. Support to Mark Lotterman, who played later that night.

Joe Madman & The Sidewalkers, 'Live On Air', friday May 16th 2014.

Joe Madman & The Sidewalkers (Alphen ad Rijn), live on air.
Recorded: Friday May 16th 2014, ‘Gouwestad Radio Studio 2.
Tracks: Shake It Down/From The Day She’s Been Gone/Winter Waltz.

Note: To promote the upcoming release of their 10” EP one month later, this Psychedelic Garage Blues-trio came by for a chat and three very dedicated acoustic performances, despite mocking about during performances. Their acoustic rendition of ‘From The Day She’s Been Gone’ captures the energy of the electric EP version beautifully in it’s own sense.

Joe Madman & The Sidewalkers, 'Live On Air' January 13th 2012.

Joe Madman & The Sidewalkers (Alphen a/d Rijn), live on air.
Recorded: January 13th 2012, ‘Gouwestad Radio Studio 2.
Tracks: Golddiggin’Woman/Laying My Burden Down/Gloria-Roadtripper-Sweet Home Alabama.

Note: Youing Garage R’n’R inspired Blues band, having their maiden voyage on radio. Eager to play a long, acoustic set, I annoyed them with questions inbetween. Last song was cut short, as we ran out of broadcasting time. Which wasn’t easy to signal to a singer/guitarist playing so intense, he closed his eyes and shut out the world completely! But somehow we managed just in time.
