The Ex (Amsterdam/Makkum), 2-track recorded.
Friday November 12th 2010, 'So What' Gouda.
Tracks: Complete list asap, includes 24 Problems/Hidegen Fujnak A Szelek/.
Note: Amsterdam-based improvising former Anarcho-punks, playing an intense set with new singer Arnold de Boer, also known as ‘Zea’. Recorded from the stageblock signals, mixed to two unused subgroups and then fed into a Flash recorder. Wanted to make 14 channel recordings, but lacked the time to set up gear and soundcheck.

Tracks: Coming soon.
Note: Theatrical, Dutch languaged sample-cabaret from the Amsterdam Squat-scene, sending out their critical messages. 'Osdorp Posse' De Gonz, Gouda, friday July 3rd 2009.
Osdorp Posse (Amsterdam), 2-track recorded.
Friday July 3rd 2009, 'de Gonz' Gouda.
Tracks: Coming soon.
Note: in the middle of their farewell tour, these Amsterdam Posse, who pioneered Dutch languaged Hiphop, agreed to play a benefit-gig in support of the venue. The place was loaded and the guys were in great shape, making a hell of a party. Due to more channels needed than available, I got them recorded in mono, with scratches and computerized effects in a bit lower levels than wanted.

'Grote Prijs van het Groene Hart' De Gonz, Gouda, friday June 5th 2009.
2nd semi-finals ’Grote Prijs van het Groene Hart’ (Gouda/Woerden/Schoonhoven/Alphen ad Rijn), 2-track recorded.
Friday June 5th 2009, 2009, 'de Gonz' Gouda.
Note: After 12 years there was another band-contest organised. Initiated by ‘Plug Unit’-related ‘Rockschool’ in Reeuwijk, 20 bands played ‘De Gonz’ (Gouda), ‘Bastille’ (Schoonhoven’, ‘Kasteel’ (Alphen a/d Rijn) and ‘Babylon’ (Woerden), to get a spot in the finals held September 19th at ‘So What’ in Gouda. Making a merely last minute decision to record the night, I plugged a Flashrecorder into the PA at the very last minute. The recordings aren’t extremely well, but suitable for broadcast, after some digital reworking. ‘Roove’ won this evening.
Handsome Poets (Gouda/Reeuwijk).
Tracks: Kite Flight/Metamorphosis/This Train/Joy To The City/The Blues/Attitude/Carry The Day.
Note: this band started as a Praise/Gospel-unit, but switched to the more worldly music of Rock and Pop, with a slight touch of Funk, when singer Tabitha left. The band now plays two circuits, doing not quite bad at all.
Sheep & Guitar (Alphen a/d Rijn).
Tracks: Spider/Boom-Chic-A-Ba-Ba/Confusion Of Power/Knockin’ On Bathroom’s Door/Together/People/Smelly Socks.
Note: young Funkrockers, who didn’t impress too much this night.
Roove (Utrecht).
Tracks: Coming soon.
Note: Rock and Pop, with a touch of Funk. Still looking for a solid sound, made them win this night nevertheless.
Common People (Utrecht).
Tracks: Coming soon.
Note: young, eager band, playing a mix of Britpop and Belgian inspired rock and Pop. Didn’t do their best gig, but won the audience award.
The Mondegreens (Gouda/Moordrecht/Utrecht).
Tracks: .
Note: Punkrockband, which seem to play not at their best, at certain moments. Came in last, after playing at a Birthday Party in a stable, between haystacks and tractors in the freezing cold. Showed to have progressed majorly in a years period of time, but didn’t impress.

'The Heights' So What Gouda, Friday December 23rd 2005.
The Heights (Noordwijk Aan Zee), 4-track recorded.
Friday December 23rd 2005, ‘So What’ Gouda, during ‘De Goudse Afrekening’ live-broadcast.
Tracks: Then The Letting Go/Watch My Head Explode/A Little Bit Of A …/I Am The Trip/Do You Love Yourself?/Beachyhead/So Long/Compass Inside/(Unknown)/Philosophy/In Another Life/Cinnamon/Docklands/River Phoenix/Summer’s Over.
Note: Britpop induced Pop/Rock, with former ‘Zoppo’ singer. Booked in an attempt to get more crowds, the organising team left the ‘Budgetfree bookings’ principle for this night. It didn’t work. The set was nice, but slightly done on ‘Auto-pilot’, with a singer missing some important notes.

'Ammocave',So What Gouda, Friday December 23rd 2005.
Ammocave (Gouda/Utrecht/Zoetermeer), 4-track recorded.
Friday December 23rd 2005, ‘So What’ Gouda, during ‘De Goudse Afrekening’ live-broadcast.
Tracks: So Long/Half A Lie/Madison Avenue/No More Tricks/Skin & Bones/Jam/Enough/My Own Way/Plastic.
Note: Hardrock, augmented by former ‘Herman Brood’-saxplayer Boris van der Lek. Caused a huge stir, when ‘management’ send in a list of requirements. We neglected them and the rest of the apologising band had a good talk with the manager, as they understood this could very well ruin their chances to gig. Which they did in the end, being one of the loudest acts ever playing the broadcast. As several amps were left out off the PA-signal, the recordings suit their purpose, without being overly Hifi. One of the last gigs with singer Reindert, who was thrown out few months later.

Malignity 'Live On Air', friday November 25th 2016.
Malignity (Woerden/Gouda), live on air.
Recorded: Friday November 25th 2016, ‘Gouwestad Radio Studio 2.
Tracks: Black Ghost Horse/Damiën/Cry For The Van Queen/Immortal Hate/Blood Lust.
Note: revamping the ‘Doorgeplugd’ concept, studioboss John challemged me, by proposing this 5 piece Heavy Metal band. Challenge accepted! Which turned ouit great, with making funny faces throughout the set, trying to make others laugh and intense, focused music throughout the set. During the show, the premiered two prerecorded tracks, of which one was an impromptu decision. Two days later, I still suffered from painfull belly muscles from laughing.
